About Me:
I’m Luke, a personal trainer based at Ascendancy Fitness in Warrington.
I work with people who are frustrated with starting over, those who’ve tried training before, know they can be consistent, but struggle to make it stick without structure and accountability.
My role isn’t to motivate you for a few weeks.
It’s to help you build a routine that actually fits your life and progresses over time.
How I approach coaching
Most people don’t struggle because they don’t care enough.
They struggle because they don’t have a clear plan, clear expectations, or anyone keeping them accountable once motivation fades.
My coaching is built around structure first:
knowing what you’re doing
knowing why you’re doing it
and having someone guide you when things stall
Whether someone trains with me in person, through hybrid coaching, or online, the aim is always the same consistent training, steady progression, and habits that don’t collapse after a few weeks.
What working with me is actually like
I don’t sell quick fixes or short challenges.
Coaching with me is about:
having a clear plan from day one
training with intent rather than guesswork
adjusting as your goals and circumstances change
being held accountable in a realistic, supportive way
Some weeks will be straightforward.
Some won’t.
The difference is you won’t be guessing what to do or when to change things.
Who I work best with
I work best with people who are ready to take their training seriously, not obsessively, but consistently.
If you want guidance, structure, and someone to keep you on track when life gets busy, you’ll likely do well with this style of coaching.
If you’re looking for something casual, short-term, or motivation-based, this probably won’t be the right fit and that’s completely fine.
Experience & perspective
I’ve been working in the fitness industry for over four years and have worked with people at all stages, from complete beginners to those who’ve trained for years but never quite found consistency.
The biggest difference between clients who succeed and those who don’t isn’t ability or effort.
It’s structure, accountability, and having a plan that adapts over time.
That’s what I focus on.
